Lefteri Minas is the founder of Ethos carpentry. After graduating from Maine Central Institute, a boarding high school in his home town Pittsfield, ME, Lefteri received his associate degree in building construction and science from Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, Maine. There he learned the skills necessary for blueprint reading, computer aided drafting and design, construction layout, safety, and management and estimation for projects in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Upon receiving his associate degree, Lefteri stayed in the Bangor area and began his career as a carpenter by working for H.E. Sargent, Inc. Soon after that, he had an opportunity to work on custom carpentry projects for C.E. Bucklin & Sons Inc. in Northeast Harbor. While working as a carpenter in Northeast Harbor, Lefteri continued learning about the carpentry field by attending workshops on Green Home designs and bathroom remodeling.

For nearly 10 years, Lefteri continued perfecting his craftsmanship by working in the carpentry field and acquiring expertise in blueprint, framing, roofing, drywall, siding, flooring (hardwood and carpeting), windows, doors, trimming and molding (including custom millwork), and furniture making and installation. Motivated to do custom finish carpentry that reflects strong work ethics, attention to detail, craftsmanship, and clients' needs, Lefteri started Ethos carpentry in 2011.

Lefteri is a motivated, result-oriented, and hard working independent carpenter with leadership experience, who currently lives in Portland, Maine with his dog Mac. He is detail-oriented, has high standards for the finished products, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. When he is not working, you may find him camping, fishing, or dancing.
